Summer of '63

It was the summer of '63. I was not yet born. My dad was 16 years old and had a job doing harvest in Colorado. The Franz family took Robert and his older brother Clay places like Strasburg and Bennett for the work. The Franz family was headed up Howard, and his wife Dorothy. With two children Steve an Diane. That same summer the crew also took some time for sight seeing. It was the first time my dad had been to RMNP, or the trail ridge road. He related this to me on a trip to Estes Park (on the lower end of Hwy 34, Aka Trail Ridge) this summer July 2005.
